Harbor Privacy Fax operates under the HIPAA conduit exception (45 CFR §164.500(b)). That is the same legal category as a telephone company or postal carrier. We transmit your fax and then it is gone. We do not open it, store it, or retain any copy.

What that means practically: if you are sending medical records, insurance forms, or other health information, no Business Associate Agreement is required because we never hold the data. It passes through and is deleted on delivery.

This is not a subscription fax service. There is no account, no inbox, and no record of your transaction stored on our servers. It is a one-time send, built for people who need to fax something sensitive without leaving a trail.
