These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Harbor Privacy services provided by Tim Brazer ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Pembroke, Massachusetts. By purchasing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Harbor Privacy provides home network privacy services including hardware installation, DNS filtering configuration, and ongoing technical support. Specific services and pricing are described at harborprivacy.com/pricing.
Installation requires access to your home and network equipment. You agree to provide reasonable access during the scheduled installation window. Installation is considered complete when the device is configured, tested, and functioning on your network.
The $399 installation fee is non-refundable once installation is complete. If installation cannot be completed due to incompatible equipment or circumstances beyond our control, we will work with you to find a resolution.
The $29/month support plan provides up to 5 remote support incidents per month, remote monitoring, unlimited whitelist requests, and priority response. The plan is billed monthly via Stripe and may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Support incidents that exceed 5 per month may be billed at the standard remote support rate of $19 per incident.
On-site visits are billed at $79 for the first hour (travel included) and $39 per hour thereafter. Service area is the South Shore, Massachusetts. Travel outside this area may incur additional fees agreed upon in advance.
We make reasonable efforts to maintain service availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The device includes automatic failover to a cloud backup DNS server in the event of hardware failure or internet outage. We are not liable for interruptions caused by ISP outages, power failures, hardware failure, or circumstances beyond our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Harbor Privacy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in question.
We are not responsible for incompatibilities with specialized equipment including but not limited to medical devices, proprietary business systems, or devices requiring specific DNS configurations.
Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. You may cancel the monthly support plan via Stripe at any time. We reserve the right to discontinue service with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, the installed device remains your property and your network will revert to your ISP's default DNS settings.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Plymouth County, Massachusetts.
